How are you protecting clients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic?

What We Will Do

Our staff will practice the following protocols:

Temperatures taken before each shift.

If any of our team members have a temperature or show any signs of sickness they will be sent home.

Masks to be worn by all staff.

Our client coordinators will wear cloth/surgical masks during the entire shift and we have installed barriers at the front desk to promote safe distancing. Registered Nurses will wear N-95 and surgical masks as well as a face shield and clean gloves during every treatment.

6 feet apart.

Our staff will be enforcing and practicing social distancing within our clinics.

Frequent deep cleaning.

Our staff will wipe down iPads, counters, door handles, beds, lasers, products touched/used after each use.

 

What We Need You To Do

We need your help following the below protocols for the safety of our staff and clients:

Appointments required.

In order to reduce the number of clients in our clinics at a time, you must have an appointment booked. We will be limiting capacity in the clinic based on local government guidelines.

Masks will be required.

You must wear a mask upon entering our clinics and can only be taken off during your facial. If you do not have a mask to wear we will provide you a brand new one.

Temperatures will be taken upon entering the clinic.

Our team will use touchless thermometers. Should you have a temperature or showing any signs of sickness you will be asked to reschedule your appointment online and denied entry into the clinic.

Hand sanitizer will be available upon entering the clinic.

Please stay home if:

You have been in contact with COVID-19 positive individual in past 3 weeks.

You are under local quarantine orders as defined by local government.

You have any COVID-19 related symptoms.

What areas of the skin can be treated?

Skin Laundry Laser facials treat the face. Our Neck & Chest Laser treats the neck and chest. Our Hand Enhancement treats the hands.

Does it hurt?

No. You’ll feel a mild tingling sensation that is noticeable but not painful.

How soon will I see results?

After your first treatment, you will immediately notice cleaner, clearer, brighter, tighter and smoother skin. Regular, frequent treatments lead to optimal results. Improvements will accelerate after each additional session. Please note that everyone’s skin is unique and individual results may vary.

How many treatments do I need?

That depends on your individual needs. We believe in establishing a regular, convenient routine you can stick to both for treatment of any issues like acne or uneven skin tone as well as ongoing maintenance to keep your skin clean, bright, healthy and breakout free. Our knowledgeable skincare professionals will work with you to create your ideal treatment plan based on your needs.

How often should I go?

Just like doing laundry, we believe in establishing a weekly routine to maintain clean, bright, healthy skin. Once you have achieved your personal skin goals like clearing acne, sunspots or scars, we recommend a weekly Laser Facial. On average, Skin Laundry clients receive three facials per month.

Who should not undergo a facial?

For contraindications to our Laser facials please click here. If you are uncertain about any of the contraindications, please contact your preferred Skin Laundry Location.

Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

All clients will be reminded about their upcoming appointments in advance. 

As we have a strict no-show policy, we request clients arrive on time: If you do not show within 10 minutes of your allocated appointment time without giving advanced notice, there will be a 30% charge of the service and will result in immediate cancellation of your treatment. If there is availability, we will do our best to fit you in later on in the day.

If you are a new client and booked to take advantage of our FTO, failure to notify Skin Laundry about your cancellation will unfortunately result in new clients being unable to avail the AED 500 credit offer.

Do you have a late policy?

If you arrive late, we will simply reduce your treatment time accordingly, to avoid cutting the next client’s appointment short. As our appointments consist of 20 minute slots, any client that is running more than 10 minutes late for their appointment will unfortunately result in an automatic cancellation and incur a no-show charge of 30% of the service value.

No-show clients or clients who fail to give us notice in advance, will unfortunately be unable to avail the first time offer and will be charged 30% of the service value. 

If you are running late, please contact us to let us know! Late arrivals can result in other clients who are waiting for their appointment to also run late. Please be mindful.

What type of memberships do you offer?

Answer: We offer three different levels of memberships each designed to help you reach your skin goals. Learn more here. During your first visit our team of skin experts will create a customized treatment plan with recommendations of which membership would best suit you.

Can I cancel or freeze my membership?

Answer: To cancel your membership, you must contact cancellations@skinlaundry.ae or visit your local Skin Laundry clinic. Requests must be made 7 days in advance of the next billing date. Upon cancellation, you have 6 months to use any remaining treatments. You will not be refunded for any unused benefits.
