Heat! We can’t escape it here in Dubai and with temperatures soaring to record highs of 57 degrees during Summer you can imagine the havoc it plays with your skin.
Not only does our skin have to deal with intense heat, but also humidity. Our natural mechanism to deal with heat is to sweat, but to deal with humidity is another story. The struggle of dealing with that uncomfortable sticky feeling is REAL!
Heat and moisture can force your pores to expand and increase sebum production- which leads to congestion, breakouts, oil production, more blackheads, and whiteheads. What do we do to escape the heat? AC. Although this feels amazing on your hot skin, it can cause your skin to overcompensate by drying and pulling the moisture from your skin.

Even if you are a sun worshipper, direct sun exposure is extremely harmful and the primary cause of wrinkles, ageing and skin cancer. Sunburn is also detrimental and in severe cases can cause blisters, fever, nausea and vomiting.
