WHAT TO EXPECT
- Before your first appointment, you and your Skin Laundry expert will discuss your skin concerns, the treatment, its benefits, and your skin goals.
- We’ll take a photo (which will remain private) to help track your skin journey at Skin Laundry.
- After a cleanse, your Skin Laundry expert will begin the treatment followed by an application of sunscreen and will give you post treatment care.
AFTERCARE
- Use a gentle, non-active cleanser for at least 48 hours.
- Avoid applying makeup for the first 12 hours post-treatment.
- Keep the skin well moisturised, especially if it feels dry or tight.
- Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50 the following morning, and continue daily.
- Do not pick, peel, or rub any flaking or crusting — allow the skin to shed naturally.
- Avoid active skincare ingredients (retinoids, exfoliating acids, vitamin C, etc.) for 48 hours.
- Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and gym workouts for at least 12 hours post-treatment — or longer if your skin is still red or inflamed.
- Stay out of direct sun exposure for a minimum of 2 weeks after your treatment. Always protect your skin with SPF and a hat when outdoors.

Afterwards, your Skin Laundry Registered Nurse or Laser Specialist will assess your skin’s response to your first Skin Laundry facial, review your skin concerns and design a customized treatment plan to help you achieve your skin goals going forward.
