Skin Laundry Wellness MENA Investment LLC is committed to ensuring the privacy of our customers’ personal information, and this privacy policy is designed to voluntarily comply with current privacy legislation.
SECTION 1 – PRIVACY POLICY
All credit/debit cards’ details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties’. https://skinlaundry.ae will not pass any debit/credit card details to third parties. https://skinlaundry.ae takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through various hardware and software methodologies. However https://skinlaundry.ae (website) cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online’.

If you provide any information to such third parties different rules regarding the collection and use of your personal information may apply. You should contact these entities directly if you have any questions about their use of the information that they collect.

SECTION 4 – CANCELLATION & LATE POLICIES
Appointment Cancellations: All clients will be reminded about their upcoming appointments 48 hours in advance. New Clients: As we have a strict no-show policy, we request clients arrive on time: Cancellations & rescheduling is required with 6 hours’ notice. If you do not show within 10 minutes of your allocated appointment time without giving advanced notice, there will be a 30% charge of the service and will result in immediate cancellation of your treatment. If there is availability, we will do our best to fit you in later on in the day. If you are a new client and booked to take advantage of our first time offer, failure to notify Skin Laundry about your cancellation will unfortunately result in new clients being unable to avail the first time offer.
Existing Laundry Club Members and Package Holders: We kindly ask clients that you provide us with at least 6 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a treatment. Please note if you find yourself needing to cancel without sufficient notice three or more times – your membership or package credit associated with the treatment will be deducted from your file.
Membership Cancellations: Recurring Membership: All memberships are a minimum of a 3-month commitment, 3 months must be completed before you can cancel your membership. To cancel your membership, you must send an email to membership@skinlaundry.ae with the subject line stating, “cancellation & client name.” This cancellation email request must be sent to our membership team 7 days before your next billing date.
If you do not email and complete the cancelation form 7 days before your monthly anniversary date, you will be automatically billed.You will then be sent the cancelation form, this form must be completed in full and sent back 7 days in advance of the next billing date.
Upon cancellation, you will have until your next anniversary date to use any remaining laser credits. You will not be refunded for any unused benefits. Upfront Membership and Package Holders: No cancelation is required. Once payment has been received for your membership or package, refunds will not be issued under any circumstances. However, we offer flexibility to exchange the equivalent value of the paid amount for alternative services or transfer the remaining credit to a family member or friend of your choice. SECTION 5 – PRODUCT / DELIVERY POLICY
- Online product orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of purchase. To cancel, please email info@skinlaundry.ae or call our Marina Branch on (04) 570 6942.
- Once your order has been shipped or is in the process of being shipped, we cannot cancel or stop the delivery.
- Skin Laundry gladly accepts returns of unused products in their original packaging purchased at our Skin Laundry Clinics or our online store (www.skinlaundry.ae) for exchange within 14 days with an original receipt – it’s the client’s responsbility to arrange their return and cover their own costs.
- Delivery within UAE cities via Aramex shall be in 2 – 3 working days and UAE Delivery Fees will be a Flat Rate of AED 25 or will be mentioned on the checkout page depending on the country and location. Avoid any delivery delay by providing your full address along with your contact details.
- Once the payment is made, the confirmation notice will be sent to the client via email within 24 hours of receipt.
SECTION 6 – INFORMATION COLLECTED
Navigation: Even if you do not make a purchase on our site, we have the ability to track usage of our website, including what pages are visited, what products are viewed, and the third-party sites that led you to our site. This information is not used to track information about individuals, but is used at an aggregate level to customize our site, improve the online experience, and plan advertising and promotions. Other information: There are times when you may provide information to us voluntarily. This occurs when you provide feedback to us through emails, return forms, letters, or telephone calls. We use this information to respond to your query, to keep track of customer feedback, and to improve our service to customers.
SECTION 7 – CONSENT
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we infer that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. If after opting-in to our marketing list, you no longer wish to be contacted, you may withdraw your consent by clicking the “unsubscribe” option in the email message.
SECTION 8 – IMAGERY
All use of imagery will be used specifically for medical use as referral for our nurses, technicians and dermatologists.
As per DHA regulations all Imagery and Medical History will be stored for 10 years for all UAE passport holders, all other parties with a non UAE passport images will be stored for up to 5 years.
SECTION 9 – DISCLOSURE
Wellness MENA Investment LLC does not sell or otherwise share your personal information with anyone else, such as advertising agencies or marketing companies. We only send marketing information to those customers who specifically sign up for our mailing list. Marketing information sent by Wellness MENA Investment LLC may be sent by us as part of a cross-promotion or other collaboration with other companies or brands, but we do not disclose personal information to such companies or brands.
Wellness MENA Investment LLC will share your personal information internally with those staff members who need it to complete your purchase or carry out your instructions regarding the receipt of marketing information. Authorized Wellness MENA Investment LLC service providers may also have access to this information in order to carry out their responsibilities directly connected with the processing of your purchases or handling of customer service issues. Outside of these activities, we will not disclose your personal information to any third party without your written consent unless required to do so by law.
SECTION 10 – WordPress
Our online store is hosted by Woocommerce. This company provides us with the online e-commerce platform. Your data is stored through Woocommerce’s databases and software application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our online store and its service providers. Skin Laundry does not currently retain credit card numbers internally.
SECTION 11 – SECURITY
We use encryption technology in our online store in an attempt to protect you against the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. When you fill out any forms during checkout, a secure server encrypts your information through the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
To be sure you’re browsing securely during a transaction, check your web browser’s status or address bar for the closed padlock icon. This icon indicates that you are viewing a secure web page. Also, all browsers display an “s” after the “http” (https://) in the website address to indicate that you are in a secure environment. Your credit card information is encrypted using SSL and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
SECTION 12 – COOKIES
Skin Laundry, as with many other websites, makes use of “cookies” to help deliver a better customer shopping experience. Cookies are alphanumerical identification elements that we transfer to the hard drive of your computer via your web browser. They enable our systems to recognize your browser and to offer you value-added services, such as saving the contents of your shopping basket and to deliver a more personalized shopping experience.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any minors under your care to use this site.

The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore, the Customers’ are encouraged to frequently visit these sections to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.
